How You Can HelpThe Trust needs ongoing funding for fence maintenance, planting up the pasture within the new fence with native grasses and shrubs to provide a cover similar to the mountain breeding colonies, for research at the Peninsula and mountain colonies, for predator control in the mountains, amongst other ideas. We are promoting the formation of a Friends of the Hutton's Shearwater group to help this, accept donations and by selling goods.

Buy a paintingAusten Deans, the renowned Canterbury landscape artist, was commissioned by the Trust Settlor, Geoff Harrow, to produce a painting of the Kaikoura Mountains and the Hutton's shearwaters. This painting is being made available as signed limited-edition (maximum 50) prints as part of our fundraising initiatives.
This print is available, unframed for $250 (including GST and P&P). Size of print 54x34 cm (63.5x44 over signed border). |
